How could I create a hyperlink that works when you click on it, it brings up a text box with additional information. You can have a bullet list where you click on the first bullet, text box with info populates. Click on the next bullet and text box for that populates and so fourth.
Hotspot and layers would work great as they are SL native controls. Hyperlinks are HTML. Articulate's knowledgebase has some great intro videos on working with hotspots and layers.
see attached video. I have formatted the text on the left as bold and underline to look like a hyperlink, The text box on the right is in a hidden initial state. The user clicks the link and the state of the text box changes. When you add more links, you can change the state of previous text box back to hidden if you want depending on your screen real estate.
