I am unable to access my basic courses in Apple i-pad

Jun 26, 2018

I am trying to open my course which build in story line 2. it has embedded video from you tube but I am unable to access my basic courses in Apple i-pad, but on the other side I am able to open that course video in PCs and Laptops. If I am trying to open it in a Apple I-pad they ask me to buy the paid articulate 360 app to open the video. please let me know how to get rid of this problem.

The Articulate Mobile Player app is free. It needs to be installed on the iPad.

When you publish the course in SL2, make sure to select mobile player as an option [see image]. I always select everything. If the app is installed, you launch the course and it will ask if you want to open in the Articulate app.

If it's not installed, you'll be directed to install it. However, it's free.

I just tested it with this link on my iPad and it works fine.

If you're having technical issues related to the software, then you should contact the support team here

Keep in mind, if you're using SL2 it's already a few years old (released almost 5 years ago) and there have been many changes to HTML5 and browsers. The newest version of Storyline is going to provide better support for mobile delivery and defaults to HTML5 primarily. Thus it's not dependent on the mobile player app or Flash.
