I added a new picture to my slide. When I double-click on the picture, I could not reach the Format menu. This is also the same for shapes. How can I reach the Format menu?
As you said, when I click or double-click on a picture or a shape, I could not see Format menu. The screenshot as follow:
However, if I add a character or a button from Articulate library, Format menu suddenly appear.
I told this problem to the company which I bought Articulate from, they said that only Articulate objects have this feature like button. However, in tutorial videos, this feature also available for pictures and shapes. This is a very practical property actually, if this menu is not reachable, it will be hard to me.
I hope, it is more clear know. Thanks for your help.
When you say you spoke with someone from the company where you purchased this... do you mean Articulate? Did you speak to someone in support? If so, can you share a case number?
Can you tell me what type of image that is that you're using? Is it a PNG, JPG, etc.? I haven't had this problem, so I'm wondering if it's l limited to the type of image you're using. Also, can you attach the image here (not the screenshot, but the actual file)? You should be able to do so by clicking on the paperclip icon in your response. If you're able to attach it, I can take a look and see if I experience the same problem. Maybe I can find a way to get this image to work for you.
No, I did not speak anybody from Articulate support. In Turkey, there is a company "BilgiKurdu" which sells the Articulate Storyline. So, I do not have a case number.
I used jpeg, png and gif versions, all the results were same. I think, this problem is related with the version of Articulate Storyline. A support person from Bilgikurdu company defined that only buttons and characters have this property. Pictures and shapes don't have this property. But I have seen in the video.
I added the Storyline file. I hope, you can solve this problem. Thanks...
Thank you for the additional information. I took a look and I was able to see the formatting options for every image in the course.
I agree that it may be the version you're using. However, I personally haven't worked with the version released by that company. Can you tell me what version you have installed? You can find this information by clicking on "Help" and "About Articulate Storyline".
I'm not sure if you'll be able to run Update 2 on that particular install, you may want to check with BilgiKurdu, or have them contact us.
That's good. I would suggest waiting to see if this is something they'd support. I wouldn't want to advise you to update and find out that they wouldn't be able to provide support with that version.

Welcome to E-Learning Heroes, Nilay!
I'm having a little trouble following what's happening. When you insert and select an image, are you not seeing the "Format" option along the top?
It should look like this:
If this isn't what you're trying to do, can you give me a little more information, please?
Thanks!

Hi Christine,
The image is as follow:
As you see the version I have installed is lower than Version 2. Could this be the problem?
In addition, I contacted again with Bilgikurdu. I am waiting their response.

Let me know what you find out!
