I dont want my slide to automatically play. Help?! Jul 30, 2014 By Kevin Dougherty Hi, I would like for my first and other slides not to play automatically when hit the next button. I want the user to be forced to press the play button to view the content. Is that possible in articulate storyline. Thanks!
Dennis Hall almost 10 years ago07/30/14 at 1:56 pm (UTC) Hi Kevin: Create a layer (let's call it Actual Slide), and treat it like it's your main timeline. On the main timeline (or the Base layer), create a button that shows the Actual Slide layer. To ensure the button is hidden, select the Hide base objects in the Actual Slide layer properties. To allow the user to scrub the layer, ensure you select the appropriate down-down menu item. Best Regards, Dennis Hall
