Ideas/Guidance On The Best Way To Do This...
Jul 05, 2015
Pretty soon I'm going to be starting to create a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Training module with Storyline.
One of the very first elements is to be the setting of a task for learners and then, once completed, asking questions about how the task made them feel or how they felt about it. Responses are to be selected from a number of given words on screen (happy, sad, anxious, angry, etc).
Then the rest of the module kicks off.
However, towards the end of the module I need only the response words chosen by the learner at the start to automatically reappear on a slide, possibly in a shape, such as a circle.
As a relative beginner with Storyline I'm looking for advice, guidance on the best way to achieve this. Any help is appreciated.

Hi Tony,
It sounds like something you'll need to accomplish with variables - so when the user clicks on a particular shape, you could adjust the value of a variable to match what they selected. You could then set up the variable references to display on the final slide. To get you started here is a tutorial on working with variables, and one here on how to display the variable references.
Hi Ashley
Thank you very much for your response. I'll start experimenting.
Regards
Tony
No problem - and if you get stuck, let us know and share the .story file!
