Iframe: How to allow scrolling on parent site?

Apr 23, 2018

I've integrated an Articulate 360 output per iframe into a homepage. Unfortunately, there where the iframe is, I can't scroll up and down the parent site on my smartphone. With an earlier publication of the really same project that worked. Do you know a way to adjust the settings in the storyline or even the "app.min"-file to allow swiping the parent site, when used as iframe?

Can anybody help me? Thank you!

Hi David,

Can you provide the URL you're using in an iframe as well as the device you're testing with?  Generally speaking you shouldn't need to do anything on the source page to get it to scroll, though there are certain things the page/site could be doing which would specifically prevent scrolling.

For example, in the below screen recording I just created the iframe in SL360 and did nothing special to the website, but you see it scrolls and works without issue when I'm emulating an iPhone X.

While a direct recording of my mobile screen wasn't immediately practical, I did upload the published story to my server and test it on my phone.  The below screenshot shows the project loaded with the page half way down, as I was able to scroll.

As mentioned, any further info you could share would be helpful.
