Hi there, I am currently using Storyline 2 and all the illustrated characters have their heads cut off (see attachment). It's only come up this way recently. Can anyone help?
Take a look at your monitor's DPI setting. You'll want to ensure you're using a DPI setting of 96 or 100% to have Storyline 2 behave correctly, and have normal characters with heads.
Same thing just happened to me yesterday! I've never changed my settings, so I don't know why it's suddenly happening. Once I fix it on my end and the course is published, it won't happen to the users, will it? (Even if they have a different DPI setting?)
ETA - I just checked my settings, and I'm already at 100%. Any other suggestions? I'm a bit panicky, because with a restructuring in my Training department, they just asked me to create a TON of new Articulate classes.
The DPI setting should only impact authoring, so your learners wouldn't see decapitated characters unless they still appeared that way when you published the course.
Are you using Storyline 2 as well, or a different version of Storyline?
I'm also Storyline 2. I sent in a ticket to Support, and they gave me some things to try, the last of which needed me to get my internal Help Desk involved. We're going to try the last bit on Monday.

Hey, Karen! You did the right thing by starting a case. Let us know if you have any questions about what Ronaziel sent you!
