A photographer is providing me with png files with transparent backgrounds to use in Storyline 2. Should I ask them to provide full size, high quality files and storyline 2 will reduce them to an optimum web viewing size, or will I ask the photographer to reduce them to an optimum file size for quick downloading - and if so, which specifications/sizes should I ask for?
I'd recommend that you always start with high-quality images and videos that are already properly sized for your course. Scaling media up or down in your course can cause blurriness, especially if your images and videos have text.
If images and videos are bigger than your slides, they'll automatically be scaled down to fit, which can result in a loss of quality.
