I'm using Articulate 360 and have this problem that occurs when I paste an image into my Storyline file. So I copy my image in the PPT file (image 1) but when I paste it in to my Storyline file (image 2), only part of the image appears. If I insert a photo from the Storyline library, there is no problem or if I use the Insert button to paste an image there is no problem.
Is this a known issue or is there a work around for this?
thanks for the reply but unfortunately this does not help as the snipping tool copies the image but also copies the area around the image so you lose transparency
Sorry to hear you're having trouble with this. I just tested the same steps, and everything appeared to work normally for me. Here's a screen recording of my testing.
Does this problem happen with every PNG file you copy from PowerPoint and paste into Storyline 360?
Have you tried using the Save as Picture feature in PowerPoint, and inserting the picture into Storyline using the Insert >> Photos button?

I've had good luck using MS's Snip utility.

Thanks Alyssa,
The direct copy and paste is working again! Its an intermittent issue I keep having and I don't know what is causing it.
Regards
Pat
