I'm working with a client who needs two versions of a module, one in Rise and one for their LMS. They have already done the buildout of the module in Rise and now want to import that content to Storyline. They want to be able to edit the content in Storyline, it'll be the same main content with a few tweaks. Is it possible to import the material from Rise into Storyline?
I know you can add a web object in Storyline and link to a Rise course, but this isn't what we're going for—we want to be able to edit the content, whereas adding a web object only displays the content.
You can'timport Rise into Storyline. You'd have to recreate the course from scratch, including copying each piece of text from Rise and pasting it into Storyline.
Personally, it sounds like your client is asking for needless work. A Rise course can be exported for uploading into an LMS (https://community.articulate.com/series/rise-360/articles/rise-360-share-a-course-with-learners#lms). And if they just keep everything in Rise, they'll only have to maintain that version (instead of having to update both Rise and Storyline when the course needs to be revised in the future).
