Alas, you can't import a published course to get the original Storyline programming. You'll have to re-create the course.
I'm guessing the course needs to be updated. Depending on the content and how much you want to update, you might be able to save some time by grabbing screen shots from the published course, and inserting those into Storyline. You could update text by covering the screenshot with a text box that is filled with the background color (assuming the background is not textured).
This is a tough way to learn the importance of good file management. Ideally, there should be backups of source materials (Storyline file and any special graphics) and LMS materials (SCORM files and any associated documents, such as assessment keys for testing the course in the LMS). But if you don't want to store that much, then keeping the source files is always the top priority.
