I was working on a ppt import into storyline, when I realized I hadn't applied our standard theme. So I imported that (Design > Browse for themes etc). When I applied the design, it messed up all the formatting on all the slides. Below is one example. What can I do to avoid this?
Importing Powerpoint into Storyline is not a one to one conversion, so as a result text and objects may appear differently. Here is an article that offers suggestions on things to consider when importing.
The problem is not with importing ppt into storyline, but with applying a storyline theme to the storyline project file.
If you look at the image I posted, it is not a ppt import. It's a question slide created in storyline, but had its formatting all messed up when I applied the template.
Sorry for my confusion about it being a ppt import. I'm not able to recreate your issue using my own files - would you be able to share your file here or with us by submitting a Support case? If you submit a Support case, you can include a link to this forum thread as well.
