Importing a Custom HTML

Jun 26, 2014

Hi,

I am a developer working on Sharepoint Learning Kit. We wanted to put a custom Goodbye.html page. Is there a way to do this using Storyline? Is there a way to import a Custom goodbye.html page?

Hi Paul and welcome to Heroes!

I'm not incredibly familiar with the Sharepoint set up - but are you looking for this custom page to appear after the user has closed the course and returned to Sharepoint or as a part of the course itself? My one thought would be to create an exit button for the course - that closes the course and directs to a new URL (you'll want to include the trigger for the URL first).

If I'm misunderstanding, maybe you could share a bit more about what you'd like to set up and other community members could chime in.

Awesome Paul - glad I could point you in the right direction.

In regards to your question about relative urls - I know that they aren't supported for web objects, so you'll need to use full (absolute) URLs when adding web objects to your content.

The jump to URL/file trigger would support a relative URL though, and if needed there is also this possible workaround for using relative URLs which can be found in the forums. This method may work for your scenario, but please note that we don't officially support it.
