Using the Articulate Package option would be to share Studio Presenter files with the .ppta file attached among other users of Presenter. You won't need to do that to share elements with Storyline. If you've created standard Powerpoint file you can import as described here and you'll also want to make sure you're on the latest update of Storyline 2 Update 10, as there was a fix for Powerpoint audio not being imported in a recent update.
I have the Articulate Storyline 2 Update 10 - it was updated yesterday morning.
I followed the steps described to import the PowerPoint presentation with embedded audio. Everything seems to work - it takes ages ... but there is no audio. I checked the timeline of each slide - no audio whatsoever.
I am the sole user of Storyline 2 - I am not sharing files with other users.
Further to our correspondence on this matter, I have (this morning) installed Storyline2 on my home computer and attempted to import a PowerPoint presentation with embedded audio. I've done this to determine whether the problem was to do with restrictions of the office software environment.
Audio has NOT been imported on my home laptop and the saved storyline file was a mere 3Mb whereas the PowerPoint file is 69Mb.
I infer that the fix developed to solve the problem of missing PowerPoint audio import has not been supplied in the current released version - I have installed update 10 1607 1221
Thanks for the details Anthony. Not sure if you were attaching a ppt file here for us to take a look, but it looks like you were replying via e-mail/iPhone and attachments will not come through to the forums.
Ok thanks. In which case perhaps it's due to the size of our PowerPoint files? Some sort of buffering problem.
I will send you one of ours (69mb) on Tuesday and I shall try one with only 2 or 3 slides.
Thanks for your efforts so far.
I've extracted the first 5 slides from the powerpoint file that we have been discussing. Copy attached for your investigation.
Best wishes

I'm not seeing anything attached here. Looks like you are responding via e-mail - which does not allow your attachments to come through to the forums, but does include your signature.
You are welcome to pop in and edit your post if needed as well as utilize the 'Add Attachment' option here in the forums.
Thanks. I will look into that but I don't have admin privileges so I need to book a session with one of the IT support guys ... this will not be quick.
What is particularly frustrating is that I downloaded & installed Articulate Storyline 2 onto my (newish) home laptop over the weekend. Audio was not imported then either.
As a temporary measure, I am using an antique & very slow laptop with old Storyline installed. That imports audio, no problem. I then save the Storyline file & update it using the newer laptop with Storyline 2. It's convoluted and not a long-term solution but it works for now.

Hi Anthony!
Would you be able to share your Powerpoint file so that we could take a look?
Yes - I will send you a copy of one of the PowerPoint presentations tomorrow. Good luck with it!

I can't get access to the PowerPoint files until I'm back in the office on Tuesday. I shall do it then.
Kind regards
APS Good.

I did not attempt to send a ppt file - as stated earlier, I shall do this on Tuesday when I am back in the office.

Gotcha! Wanted to double check :)
I did a brief test and the audio imported for me as expected.

Downloading your file :)
Thanks for sharing Anthony. Your file imported for me just as I expected. It's attached here.
I would advise a repair of your software as outlined here.
