There is a bug seems in a video slide , that when we pause the video, the player seek bar automatically move and also the nest button enabled automatically and still the user at middle of the video. Can this be fixed, so that the paly and pause work perfectly in a video based slide.
The timeline of the video is independent of the project's timeline, which is why pausing the video does not necessarily pause the timeline.
If you have a Next button that is disabled until the timeline reaches the end, I would switch the trigger to enable it when the media (video) completes.
Hello, I am having this same experience and the guidance provided did not help. The seekbar still moves when the video is paused which is a confusing experience for learners.
Thanks so much for reaching out. Sorry to hear you've run into this snag!
Would it be possible for you to share your file with us? Feel free to upload to this thread or privately in a support case. I'd love to take a closer look at your setup!
Can I ask if you are experiencing the same behavior described by my colleague Maria here? If so, then this behavior is expected as the video timeline and slide timeline are independent of each other.
If you have a trigger that pauses the video in your slide, consider adding a trigger that pauses the timeline as well. Feel free to share a copy of your project file here so the community can explore some design solutions with you!
Hello Jose, I was not using triggers. I ended up putting a transparent box over the whole slide and then added a trigger at the start that sets it to "normal" when clicked. It keeps the user from clicking on the video to pause it, that way they can ONLY use the seekbar player buttons.

Let me know if this works!
