Indents and tabs

May 08, 2014

Hi -

How do I adjust the indents and tabs in storyline? For example, in this screen shot, I want a little more space between the number and the test, and I want the wraparound lines aligned with the indent text.

Also, is there any way to create a multi-level numbered list 1, 2, 2a, 2b, 3, 4 . . .

Thanks,

Steve Hazelton

Hi Steve,

Right now, these are the formatting options available via the formatting tool.

However, I wanted to share this thread with you. It contains some suggestions and clarification on both hanging indents and formatting that may help with what you're wanting to accomplish. There are also a few other threads on the topic as well, that may help. If you'd like me to look around and share a few more I'd be happy to.

I do know that we're working on some changes for text in Storyline, but I cannot say for certain that it will be available in the current version of Storyline. If you'd like to see this as a new feature in a future update or version, I'd suggest sharing your feedback with our product development team through this form

I hope this helps!

I cannot believe that I have to use the space bar to align text in text boxes and shapes in Storyline 360 (7 years after this issue was raised). This has been a fundamental feature of WORD and PowerPoint for the last 30 years. This basic requirement (surely required by most users) needs to be addressed urgently.

Hello Jon,

Thank you for reaching out and sharing what you are experiencing with your project file.

We do have a few paragraph formatting options in Storyline 360:

Since this conversation is a bit older, would you be able to confirm what feature you would like to see?
