I just ran across this issue as well. I get the following message:
Not Compatible: The version of Engage installed on this system is not compatible with import. Please install Engage 2.0 or higher.
I have the most recent version of Engage '13 V.3.0.1 and the most recent version of Storyline (Update 3). I get this error message when I try to import an Engage file I have created in Engage into Storyline either through the round A at the top of the window or using the New Slide option.
Currently, Articulate Storyline doesn't support importing content from Articulate Presenter '13, Articulate Quizmaker '13, or Articulate Engage '13. We're working to make this feature available in a free update for Storyline.
What version of Engage are you using? Engage '09 can be imported into Storyline using these directions, and as Leslie previously mentioned Engage '13 cannot currently be imported into Storyline. You could publish the Engage '13 file and then insert into Storyline as a web object.

JUST discovered this trying to import Quizmaker 13 file as well. Thanks for posting your question.
Hi JoEllen and welcome to E-Learning Heroes! Glad this post was able to assist you as well.
Meanwhile, did you try publishing it for Web and embedding in SL using a WebObject?
Yes, that solution may work as well. Mike just shared this solution in another thread here.
Thanks Seth!
Seth - Thank you for your suggestion.
Leslie - Thank you for directing me to the other thread.
I will try that route.
No problem Florence, I hope that it works for you.
