Interactions on Slides

I have a slide that users must click on 6 topics to learn more before they move onto the next slide. When a user clicks on the topic, it hides the base layer and shows the layer associated with that topic. Once the voice over (media) completes, I have it set to hide that layer and returns to the base layer. However, if a user clicks on an already visited topic, it allows them to see the layer but the voice over doesn't start and they are now stuck on that layer. How can I allow a user to visit an interaction already visited and have it play normally? I've attached the slide.
