I have a SME in another state, and need to record them using software, and then create step-by-step slides (first, for try mode and then later, for test mode). Since the SME will be demoing the software and will be clicking, but I will be recording from my computer via WebEx and recording with my Articulate Storyline 2, will it pick up the mouse clicks that they make?
I don't believe it'll pick up the mouse clicks in such a way for you to use them as step by step mode - as the clicks are not actually happening on your system but appear more as if it's a video being played. Could you have them download the trial of Storyline and conduct the recording that way?
Thanks for the update Sally! I just wanted to pop in and let you know that replying to the forums via e-mail also attaches your signature, but you are welcome to edit that if needed.

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, our IT security wouldn't allow that. I'll have to think some more about what my other options might be.
