I'm running in an issue continuously with one of my courses. When the course is view on the iPad, the text in specific activities appears smaller than on the computer. Can anyone help?
Thanks for the screenshot, and so sorry you're seeing that. I'd like to help investigate, and have a few questions to start us off:
What version of Storyline are you using? You can find this detail by clicking on the Help tab, then About Storyline.
Is the course hosted on a web server or a learning management system?
If you can share the troublesome .story file for testing, that would be gold. We'll delete it after troubleshooting. If that works for you, send it along by using this private upload link!
My teammate, Eric, is troubleshooting your file as we speak. He'll be in touch with next steps to try after carefully analyzing the details from his test. You're in skilled hands, and I'll follow the case as it progresses!
1) Use a separate textbox for the reference variables:

into it's own text box right next to your text.
2) I found that importing the slides resolves the issue as seen in an iPad.

Sorry you're at this roadblock, and I'm glad you reached out to us. I took a peek at your case where my teammate, Renson, logged the font size changes and text is compressed on a textbox/shape when there is a variable reference as a potential software bug. Specifically, with the modern player.
We appreciate your patience while our team investigated this.
I am happy to share some great news! We fixed the issue you reported where: Modern Player: Font size changes and text is compressed on textbox/shape when there is a variable reference

Hello, is there a solution for that? We are having the same problem and cannot figure out what is causing it.
Thank you.
Hi there,
We received two proposed solutions:
1) Use a separate textbox for the reference variables:
http://share.articulate.team/e23b2ac56cff. Take the variable and put it
into it's own text box right next to your text.
2) I found that importing the slides resolves the issue as seen in an iPad.
