Like a lot of folks, we're working on getting rid of Flash. I developed a course a few years ago using Articulate Studio '13. It's a relatively large course: approx 16 hours, and users get CE credits for it. Users answer reflective questions (ungraded) throughout the course, and they only get a complete if they work through the entire course.
I recently re-built the course by importing into Storyline and redoing any Engage Interactions from scratch. Now it's all HTML5 and works great. I'm ready to replace the course's old .zip file with the new one, but for any students in middle of the course, I believe it'll reset their progress.
Probably not. The two versions are really "apples and oranges".
You may have to do something (if you can) like schedule the switchover for a certain day and time. Inform current and new learners that have to complete the course by that switchover date or they will have to start over.

Hey, Dan!
Gerry is spot on here – replacing a Studio '13 output file with a Storyline output file is going to reset learner progress.
I agree that it's a good idea to inform learners about your plans to make the switch so they can complete their course before a certain date and time.
