Saving progress for some users and not others?

Oct 22, 2021

Hi there,

I've posted my course for my students on the web (using Google Cloud Storage). Most of my students aren't having issues with saving their progress, but a few of them did a lot of work and then when they returned, the project didn't save. Unfortunately, it's a restricted project, and quite large, so they lost a lot of work and progress when this happened. This is my first published project so it's possible I'm missing something really basic.

Welcome to E-Learning Heroes, Hannah!

I appreciate you sharing your file with us 😀 From here, I'd like one of our support engineers to take a look at your project, so I've opened a case on your behalf.

To help out my team, I'd like to gather a couple of clues to add to your case:

  • Do you know what web browser they are using for learners who say the course starts over from the beginning?
  • Are learners re-launching the course from the same web browser and computer?

We'll reach out shortly via email!

Hi there,

Students are using Chrome/ Chromebooks. They are using the same computers daily. They are launching from a link posted on Google Classroom. The link hasn't changed at all. Most of my students haven't had problems, only about 5 out of my 120 or so students have had their work reset.
