Is it possible to publish under creative commons licence?

Jan 04, 2024

Dear Team of Articulate Storyline,

We would like to publish our e-learning course under the creative commons licence CC by SA 4.0 (due to our project which should be Open Educational Resources (OER) friendly). Is this possible or do we have to exclude the default articulate elements of this licence (like buttons etc.)?

Thanks so much!

Christine

Hi Christine!

I'd be happy to share some insight on this! Here's a quick breakdown of what you can do with the elements from Content Library 360:

  1. You are free to use the assets in Content Library 360 in e-learning courses you intend to promote to the public. You may share it on any website or LMS, distribute it to any audience, and charge learners a fee to access it.
  2. You are free to use Content Library 360 assets within an Articulate 360 tool, but you cannot add them standalone into other applications.
  3. Content Library 360 images, icons, and videos are royalty-free for commercial and non-commercial use. No attribution is required.
