You should be able to publish a course you originally created in update 2 with update 5, and have it work as expected. If it's not working, we'd want to take a look at the new .story file. I'd also need to know a bit more about under what conditions it's not working, such as you're publishing it to an LMS and testing it using IE10 - or you're viewing the HTML5 output on your iPad in mobile safari.
