Is there a size limit to courses before there are performance issues.

Hi, I have sent out a course for review which is much larger than the courses I usually put together (our organization's induction - which has lots of videos, etc.)  and I am getting feedback that for some people it is "hanging" in several places. 

Is there such thing as a course that is too big, and it needs to be broken down into smaller modules? I am using Articulate 360.  The course is currently 487MB.
