Unless I'm misunderstanding your question, those center by default and I'm not aware of a way to align the boxes differently. I invite you to check out this thread where a user shares a possible solution that may work for you.

Wow, I'm surprised that this alignment is locked in, even in slide view mode. Seems like this would be something we'd have the flexibility of adjusting in Storyline.
Unfortunately it doesn't appear that there is a way. I was just saying that Storyline has us so spoiled with a dozen ways to customize nearly everything that I'm really surprised something as simple as a checkbox is locked in the way it is.

Try switching to "slide view" and see if it gives you the customization options you're looking for (it should...)
