I really hope to get a help with issue i have with below:
I am importing powerpoint into Storyline 2 and one of the slides always replacing one other slide. I tried to import that single slide and it is still replaced with the other one. Opening that slide in Engage works just as fine and displays the content of the slide.
Have any of you had this issue before? and if yes, what did you do to resolve this?
I have tried this on 2 different computers with Storyline 2 installed yet both give same result.
Also something happening on the assessment i have in that powerpoint during import. One of the quizzes come out different - multiple choice values different from the source file.
Please find that attached for the .story file. Slide 1.4 and 1.16 supposed to be different but they the same after the import. In the source .pptx file 1.16 is different. also on slide 1.35 one of the values supposed to be 240000 but it is not there and other value is displayed.
Do you need only the source .pptx or the entire thing. The entire thing is about 800MB.
Thanks for sharing the .story file here with us. To see how the import is happening we'd want a copy of the Powerpoint file as well - or if it's the Engage pieces you're importing than we may need the entire Presenter package or the individual Engage (.intr file).
If any of these are too much to share here, you can send along to our Support team here.
In the meantime, some things you can check for would be that you're importing from a local source, and if you have those Engage resources inside your Presenter file, that all those files exist in the same folder as the .PPTX file you're importing in. You'll want to follow the directions here for importing.
So I just realized something I should have done lot earlier - I imported the entire project then for the one slide that was always being replaced by the other, I imported its single engage file and put it in the project which resolved the issue.
It is still funny how one was replacing the other every time. If I ever get this issue again I will sure to post it here for more help. For now please discard my question.

it will be easier for someone to help if you can share your .story file and other source files that you are importing so people can look at the setup.

Thanks Tselmeg for that update and I'm glad you were able to resolve it with the import of one slide - that also took some less time probably!
