Issue with new floating Colour Selector in Storyline 360

Mar 02, 2023

Hi,

I've recently upgraded to the latest build of Storyline 360 and when using the new floating colour selector I can only apply colour to the currently selected object on the slide. I can't select another object without closing the floating colour selector and then reopening the Fill dialogue drop down.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue? I would have expected to be able to keep the floating panel on screen and be able to select objects to change their colour.

Also the options to set No fill is not present in the floating panel.

Any help would be appreciated!

Hello Graeme,

Thanks for reaching out!

You can select multiple objects in the slide using the Ctrl key and change their colors all at the same time using the Color Selector. This will save you some time if you need to change the fill color of multiple objects.

As for the 'No Fill' option, this is something that should be available for you when you click on the Shape fill option.

As a troubleshooting step, try doing a repair of your Storyline 360 installation to see if this helps correct the issue.
