Issue with transparent pictures in drag and drop (html5)
Aug 18, 2016
Hello community,
I have a drag and drop slide with pictures. The pictures have transparent backgrounds and a subtitle. Unfortunately, I cannot click on the transparent part of the pictures to drag them into the box. Only the full coloured part is able to be clicked on. You find an example of it in the attachments. I also added in the file an example where I group the picture with a box filled with white colour. It appears the same because the background is also white. In that case it is also possible to drag the white part of the picture.
The only problem with this workaround is that the white filling will be seen when I drop it in the box. It doesn't look really nice.
In fact, I don't have the problem in the storyline preview. It only appears when I publish it and only with html5. I tried different browsers and machines.
Does anyone have the same problem or a workaround on that?

Create a new square and make it transparent, edit it's state and place in your picture. that should work.
Ctrl Enter will bring up the panel to make it transparent (slider)
Christian, replacing your white shape with a hot spot should work for your needs. Group them again, see if tht works.
Your idea to group it with a shape is on the right track. Just make the shape filled, but set the transparency of the fill to 100%. You won't see the shape, but the mouse will and you can click on it and drag it.
Thank you Walt! Your solution worked perfectly. But I am pretty sure the other one would have worked too. Thanks a lot to you Josh and Richard.
