You must be leaving a small step while configuring the trigger. You need to select the exact customized button in the drop-down list. Please see the attached screenshot.
SL doesn't really have any method to communicate with a web object to know when it has finished. You are probably best advised to use Vikas's suggestion to enable the Next button on the basis of some other action. If you want it at the end of the web video, here is an option that may help you:
When the user clicks to start the web object, jump to a new slide, and set the web object to start when the timeline starts. Then set a trigger to enable Next when the timeline reaches the length of the video. You may want it little longer in case there are buffering problems.
I would simply apply a 'Visited' state to the web object, set the next button initial state to 'Hidden', and from there create a trigger that changes the state of your next button to 'Normal' when the state of {web object} state is 'Visited'.
Jyothi, there are different methods to detect the end of a video within a web object, depending on the type of video. Is this video on Vimeo or another service?
You basically have two options with video in Storyline, 1. Insert the video itself into your project or 2. Insert the video in a web object if you are streaming the video from a service such as Vimeo or even an internal web server. Which way are you going to use your videos?
