JAWS - how to export screen text for accessiblity document?

I'm not sure if my client's process is different than others because I'm totally new to JAWS, but I'm currently working on a project with a specific process for JAWS.
We publish into a Word document and use that output to generate a text file for JAWS. (That final process is done by someone else, so I'm not clear on what exactly they do!)
As the ID, I have to prepare/clean up the text file. Storyline does not export text/items on the screen to the Word document, other than the Notes we have manually inserted there.
Am I missing something? Is there a way to automatically export the screen items to a Word doc to use with a screen reader?
Thanks in advance!

Hi Denise! If you need a word document of your Storyline text in editable format, try exporting your course for translation.
Also, I wanted to mention that Storyline content is accessible for JAWS screen readers, in case that will save you some work! Here are the requirements for Storyline 360:
Thanks, Crystal. I've downloaded a trial of JAWS so I can see why this text document is needed at all. If JAWS can read the screen, seems like an extra unnecessary step. I will run a Storyline file through and see what happens! Thanks much!
