You mean you want learners to use the side menu to launch "chapters" (scenes)? If so, go to Player > Menu > delete all the link in the current menu layout > insert from project (folder icon on bottom left) > choose the first slide of each scene.
This will give you a side menu with links to each scene ("chapter").

Thats right. But I want the users to see how many slides each lesson has.
Include a visual counter/icon somewhere on each slide. This won't reveal itself in the side menu but it will on the screen.
