Jump To Next Slide Issue

When working in Storyline 2 my slides sometime get separated into two columns (see attached image where the scene is separated between slides 3.8 and 3.9). This creates a problem when I publish and the Next button will not advance to the next slide.

Three questions:

What causes this to happen?
How do I correct it?
How do I prevent from happening?

Hi Evener

if you are using the inbuilt player Prev/Next buttons this normally means that the Next button has become deselected in the slide properties and the jump to next slide trigger has dropped off.

Try clicking the Next button checkbox on and off and watch how the triggers display and drop off in the triggers panel
