I am publishing for LMS and using the Jump to URL trigger to open a new window using a relative path. It works on some computers but not others. On the computers that don't work, I tried using IE and chrome. Neither work. What could be the problem?
It's computer specific, not browser specific? Have you checked the flash player for each computer and browser and tried updating them? Also, is it a jump to URL trigger that you're using or an inserted web object URL?
Thanks - can you tell us more about the set up of these users computer? You mentioned in the computer where it occurred it was Chrome and IE but did those browsers work on your own computer? Have they updated the Flash player recently?
Hi Ashley - Yes, the computers where it doesn't work have the latest IE and Chrome version as well as flash player. There doesn't seem to be any difference to the computers where it does work. They also have the latest versions. A bit baffled with this one.
I'm at a bit of a loss too - some other things I would suggest trying/looking into to help narrow it down are:
Try sharing the published course at SCORM Cloud (an industry standard testing method for SCORM content) with those users to see if the same behavior persist
Create a simple course with a few different Jump to URL triggers to websites you know they have/can access, simple ones like Google, YouTube, etc. to see if there are any other security warnings or pop ups being blocked
Can you try linking to an absolute URL instead of the relative URL? Since it was an issue for web objects, it may help here too.

Popups?
Thanks Simon, I did try playing with pop-up settings but it doesn't seem to see a new window as a pop-up anyway.
