I am using slide layers for a series of text boxes. I would like the layers to appear at specific points on the timeline.
Upon creating the slide layers, I do nto see them stack on top of the base layer in the time line, and the time point is not triggering the layer to appear. A am using the trigger to Show the Layer when timeline reaches X.
Here is what I have - a slide layer, set to appear when the timeline reaches a set time. The base layer is set to play automatically, and go to the next slide at the end of the timeline. upon preview, my layer is not appearing Pic of the trigger wizard is attached.
Hi, Lynn -- Thanks for your question and for the image, but as Walt suggested, it always a bit easier for others to help if they are able to look at your source (or .story) file to see how things are set up. Please use the ADD ATTACHMENT button in the bottom left of the reply box to browse for your file and you will be able to upload from there! :)

When you create your trigger, make sure that the bottom box is set to the slide, not some other timeline.
Layers do not show on the timeline, only in the layers pane.
Hi Lynn! Looks like Walt is assisting you here. Are you able to see your layers appearing if you preview?

Hard to tell, but it would be easier if you could attach your .story file.
