Lightbox freezing layer

Apr 26, 2015

I have had an issue I am hoping someone may be able to assist with.

Background:  I have a slide with a variety of objects on it and when each is hovered over it triggers the display of a different slide layer which consists of displaying title text across the top of the screen relating to the object hovered over.  When the user clicks the object it then lightboxes another slide which provides detailed info regarding that object.  I have chosen to lightbox instead of navigate to that slide as I provide access to the info from various points in the project and it was an easy way to keep the use at the point they were and allow them to browse other content on the slide before moving on.

Issue:  When the lightbox is closed, the slide layer which was displaying when the mouse was hovered over it when clicked remains visible event though the mouse is not hovering over it.  This remains until the object is again hovered over.  This slide layer should be hidden when the object is not hovered over and I have not been able to find a way to hide it without the use physically hovering over the object again.

Does anyone know how to overcome this?

It is checked so I thought everything would work. It works when hovering and moving off but it seems when it jumps to the light box it freezes the layer in place until it is prompted to display again which kicks it into responding normally again.
I can create a variable to track the location and transition to the slide then back to the location the variable is set to but using the light box was a convenient way to not have to set all of that up so I was hoping there might be a simple solution
