Hi there Tex! That's an interesting idea. Can you tell us more about what you want the "Like" button to do once a user clicks it?

I've been playing around with the variables and managed to get the clicks to increase each time someone clicks the "thumbs up" icon.  One thing I am not sure about is once the course is published, will this action continue regardless of how many people access the course?

Or will it revert to the original position (zero) each time the course is accessed?  

You would need some sort on server communication and javascript to make it work for every user.

The file will be published to web and will reside on a server.  Will this be sufficient?

Hi Tex, you ideally need a database where you can store the like value, I think you could use a google sheet to save the value and then call the last value from the sheet, not as simple as you would hope as each time the course loads it is a new instance.

Silly me for thinking it was so simple!!  How exactly do I go about calling the last value from the google sheet?  Do you have the information or do you know where I can locate it?  Thanks for helping me with this.
