Is it possible to link questions in questionbanks i.e. you have 10 random questions and want them linked in pairs so that there is a rule that if learner answered A, s/he isn't given B, s/he answered D, so isn't given C etc. So, in a given session s/he only gets 5 out of the 10 questions?
I think the closest you'll be able to get without using variables and / or conditions, would be to utilize the Lock Question feature. Do you think locking questions into specific groups might help somehow?
I may be missing something, but I think locking the question does the opposite. If I lock Question A to Question B, it seems to result in B always following A, even when the question bank is randomised. What I want is for B not to be chosen if A is chosen.
I haven't tried conditions yet, so I'll have a go at that now.
