I've been trying to troubleshoot an issue with SL courses not launching from our LMS. After much trial and error it seems that if the SCORM is set to track by number of slides viewed, the course won't launch from the LMS. If I take the same course, add a one question quiz and then track by that quiz's results slide the course launches fine and the tracking works.
Has anyone seen this issue? Better yet, does anyone have any ideas how to remedy it?
Hi Gerry. The LMS is called Axentis. The primary use of Axentis is by the compliance team who track lots of compliance rules related to trading (financial industry). I think the LMS may bemore of an afterthought and not as rigorously implemented as the rules side of the platform. It is SCORM 1.2.
I have only done one Presenter course that tracked slide numbers and that worked fine. That's what baffles me.

Wild, Brett! What LMS do you use?
I've used both SCORM 1.2 SL courses in Saba with quizzes and with completion by numbers of slides viewed. No issues.
Also, do you see the same thing with Articulate Presenter courses?

By chance have you turned on debug mode and see how it compares between the two versions?
Thanks. Haven't tried that yet. Hopefully I'll get a minute and give it a go. And thanks again; I wasn't aware of the debug mode.
