LMS doesn't show the course status

Feb 17, 2023

Hello, I have a question about the SCORM package of an Articulate course.

I created a course that does not have end-of-module quizzes. Learners must view every course slide to get the course completion status in the LMS. There is no hidden slide in the course. The course was published as a SCORM (1.2) package and then uploaded to the LMS. The completion status was set as complete/incomplete (both Articulate and LMS). When completing the course, the course status showed "Completed," with a 100% progress bar displayed. However, if a learner exited in the middle of the course and did not complete the course, the course status would show 0%.

Do I need to add any trigger or setting in the Articulate course before publishing it to a SCORM package?

Thank you!

Sharon

Hi Sharon,

Thanks for reaching out to us! This is the expected behavior of the course with the setting you have listed above. Anything less than 100% completion would get a 0%. If you looking for progress to be reported as well, you would need to add a results slide. Then it would be up to the LMS to determine how the progress is recorded.

Below is an article on how to add a results slide!

I hope this helps!
