lmsAPI - looking for info

Hi dear heroes,

I need to dig a little deeper into lmsAPI calls via javascript: I know the basic ones (like SetStatus) and roughly how they work, but I need to get a more robust understanding of how the SCORM content communicates with the LMS, and viceversa.

To my surprise, I've found no documentation on the web, beside this and other good forums, that of course offer no "systematic" overview of the subject. Even the official SCORM documentation seems to be lacking on this (or maybe I was not good enough in searching?)

Can someone point me to some resource (book article, reference, everything helps!) that can help me?
