Any updates on Storyline for Mac? Are Mac users still required to use Parallels or Fusion? Are there any plans for accommodating tens of thousands of Mac users that would convert to Storyline in a heartbeat if there was a native Mac version?
Thanks Ashley. I've been submitting requests for a native Mac version. I'm not sure why Articulate is avoiding providing such. Maybe it's overwhelming to develop a Mac version of such complex and sophisticated software. But I can guarantee you that tons of Adobe Captivate folks would covert. I use Parallels and it works, but I avoid it every chance I get. Even Microsoft products work better in native Mac formats than they do on PCs or in virtual PC environments.
As much as I hate to do it, I think I'm going to update my Captivate. People like you, Ashley, make me want to go with Articulate, and I'll miss the forums and tutorials Articulate offers. But, I've been waiting over 2 years for a Mac version of Storyline and I've been getting by with Captivate. Thanks for all of your support, Ashley.
I wish I knew the answer - but I'm definitely not a programmer, designer or coder, but the complexity issue sounds on target. I know the requests aren't being ignored though, and the more requests...the better. So feel free to have friends, colleagues, etc. submit them...
I'm glad we've been able to assist over the past few years, and hope that we'll be able to assist you again soon with a Mac version.

Hi Evan,
I don't have any updates to share regarding a native Mac environment, but at this time you'll need to use a virtual environment such as Parallels or Fusion. If you'd like to suggest Mac support, we encourage you to submit a feature request directly to our product development team.
