Major confusion with Goodbye.HTML

Aug 16, 2017

Hello everyone.  I have a group of modules that are being launched this week and when we tested the french versions, realized there was the English goodbye message ... "Content has ended / close the window".

We found the Goodbye.html file and tried editing it with French text.  When we edited it with Notepad, then uploaded to our LMS (SumTotal), all of the characters with accents showed up as black boxes.  Then when we edited the file with WORD it seemed to work.

However, we now have UAT testers looking at it and saying that at the end of the course they are now getting a white screen with that text and no way to exit.

Can someone please assist?

We have republished the file and corrected it using the steps outlined below...

One some PCs the issue is resolved.  Others are still getting a white screen with the goodbye message and nowhere to click and exit out of the module.

Can anyone help?
