I would like to request your help regarding this issue. I need a rectangle 1 to pop up with zoom Entrance animation effect when I click rectangle 2. I need rectangle 1 to change to the same color as rectangle 2 pop. I need rectangle 1 pop up to disappear with Exit animation effect also when clicking rectangle 2 or outside rectangle 2. Finally I need rectangle 1 to revert back to initial color when rectangle 2 disappears.
My issues are : - On first click Rectangle 1 does not change colors, only afterwards it does - zoom effect work only once - I'm unable to make to make the Exit animation work.
Exit animations don't work the way I'd like, on a trigger. I'd love to be able to "trigger" an exit with a simple command.
The only ways I can trigger EXIT animation is pause the timeline right before the exit would occur, then use a trigger to resume the timeline, thus "faking" a triggered exit event.
Another way is to use motion paths and triggers to move an object, but that means you lose all the cool exit effects like Zoom or Grow or Wipe, all you get is "Fly Out".
Anyway, as to your .story.
Remove the Rect1 from the layer.
In the Layer Options, uncheck the "hide objects on the base layer"
That seemed to be all I needed to do. Now the Rect1 changes to RED when layer1 appears. When I click outside of Rect2 that layer disappears and Rect1 returns to blue.

You could do this using query animations to target the aria tag
