I am trying to create a slide in storyline 2 that has an object on a motion path traveling over some flags I have on the slide. I want a couple of the flags to disappear when to object crosses over them. I cannot figure out how to time this properly. Hits, tips or suggestions?
It depends on how your object is moving over the objects that you want to disappear. Is this movement on the timeline? If so, you can just end the objects timeline at the time you want them to disappear.
If something else is going on, give us some detail about what you are doing, and what it is you would like to happen, and someone here can give you a hand.
My issue comes with the timing of when to end the disapearing objects timeline to match up with the other object traveling over it. I have a person on a bike traveling down a road with color flags on the side and when the bike travels over the flags i'd like some of them to disappear. Then I have a boy running from the other side of the screen with the same action happening to a couple other flags. I don't want the object to disappear before or after the bike or boy travels over the flag.

this rough example might help you.
If you check the duration of your motion path you might be able to work out when you want the items to disappear
