Making a Project Public
Jan 23, 2018
Hello and Good Morning,
I have created several projects that I would like to make part of a publicly accessible portfolio. However, I have no idea where where to start.
Could anyone tell me how to build a public portfolio that is easily accessible.
I would also like to place a project on a Thumb Drive that can be viewed independent of Articulate Storyline. Could I get help with that too?

Hi David,
There are a few portfolio sites listed in this blog post that you might try out: http://blogs.articulate.com/rapid-elearning/create-e-learning-portfolio/
Otherwise, you can share your examples using Amazon S3 or self-host your own portfolio. I strongly prefer the last option since you control it 100%, but it does require an initial investment of time and money for the hosting service, themes, etc. I personally use Siteground for my hosting because they have amazing customer service. If you're interested, I put together a blog post of my four favorite WordPress plugins for eLearning Portfolios.
As for putting your work on a thumb drive, just choose the CD option when publishing your work. That will create a folder containing all the files needed to make your project accessible offline. Copy that folder over to your thumb drive, then open the Launch_Story file when you're ready to view it.
Cheers,
Allison
Hello Allison and Thank you for the start. I will apologize in advance as I foresee many followup questions - specially with creating the Portfolio. Just a quick one for now.
1. Is there a tool that can be used to auto launch a file stored on a thumb drive?
As of this thread a few months ago, no that wasn't possible. You might investigate other software solutions outside of Storyline to see if you could add it.
