There is only one default set up for all quiz questions. You won't be able to create a master that is automatically applied when you insert a multiple choice vs. a fill in the blank for example.
While a bit older, you can check out this discussion for some insight on this topic, or you could also create a separate scene for template questions and copy them over. For more information on working with slide masters, you'll want to take a look at the tutorials here.
