Nice upgrade to Articulate360! Let me help you make it the default version for opening Storyline files.
Note that once you make Storyline 360 the default software, your .story files will be upgraded if you launch/open it with Articulate 360. You will always receive a prompt if you want to upgrade before the file opens.
For me to provide you with detailed instructions, what Windows version are you using?
Pay close attention to what Louise said about the versions. Changes you make in 360 cannot be opened in 3.
Right click on a .story file, and choose open with ... You will get a dialog box that will allow you to choose what app to use to open it, and there will also be a clickable option (usually selected by default) that will allow you to choose to always use that app to open files of that type.
