Mandatory Course Interactivity in Storyline before you can click next

Mar 15, 2018

Hello! I am new to Articulate 360 and I am trying to figure out how to make the sequence of lessons mandatory within a course as well as the interactivity. In other words, I would like for them to click on all of the interactive content on the slide BEFORE they have the ability to click the next button and proceed as well as do the lessons in order and not jump around. Is that through triggers or?

Rachel,

If you are providing a menu with your course, you can restrict navigation. Check here for more details: https://community.articulate.com/series/articulate-storyline-360/articles/articulate-storyline-360-user-guide-how-to-customize-the-menu#wrap

As there are multiple ways to accomplish things in SL, you'll probably get a lot of different approaches. For example, if you have an interaction that you want the learner to click on ALL interactive content, you could setup a T/F variable that turns T once the states of all the buttons are visited. See attachment for one way this could be done.
