Markers and their Glorious states

Ah, those pesky markers..
The new guy is seeking some input
-I want to see if there are additional animate options for markers. I only see swirl and pulse.
-I am trying to insert a picture for the label fill. I only see colors and gradient as a choice...
-I do not want the title to appear until the user clicks on the marker. I do not see how to do this. I do see the choice to "show all on hover" .
I like what is there, but am falling into the "tweaking mode" on a project and I could use a good "donk" over the head...

Markers are strange they don't follow all the storyline rules, you cannot have a image fill or any aditional animations, although TBH markers are the only objects that have emphasis animations
To get the look that you're imagining, you may want to use buttons with layers instead? You wouldn't get the animation, but at least you could do the image fill and eliminate your hover issue. Not as quick as using a marker, but effective.
